Tampa Bay Young Republicans Elect All Female Executive Board
(Tampa, FL)- Tuesday evening, during an annual meeting which featured Republican Party of Florida Chairman Blaise Ingoglia as guest speaker, the Tampa Bay Young Republicans elected its first all-female executive board. The New Executive Board Members include:
President Janine Kiray, a Florida native and graduate of the University of South Florida, who currently serves as the Legislative Assistant to Florida State Representative Chris Latvala (R-Clearwater), was re-elected for a second term. Last September, she was named one of Saint Petersblog’s 30 Under 30 Rising Stars in Florida Politics for her work on Latvala’s campaign and work in the Young Republicans.
Vice President Holly Holobyn, an Indiana native and graduate of Indiana University who currently works as a Casualty Adjuster for USAA in Tampa, was newly elected after serving the previous year as Secretary. She was critical in helping develop key events for the Tampa YRs her last term.
Treasurer Dana Gordon, a Florida native from Ocala and graduate of Vanderbilt University with a PhD in Clinical Psychology who specializes in medical drug research and bio-medical device technology, brings a wealth of experience at the state, national, and international Young Republican levels as a newly elected board member.
Secretary Sammy Jo Baker, a New Jersey native, received her under graduate degree from Loyola University-Maryland and her JD from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, FL. She currently works as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Enforcement Unit and is holding her first executive board position in the Young Republicans.
“I am incredibly honored to serve a second term as President of the TBYRs and am excited to have three amazing women serve with me on the Executive Board,” said Kiray. “We are ready for 2016!”
